PGY2 Emergency Medicine
This one-year specialty program is designed to provide advanced training in emergency medicine pharmacy practice focusing on patient care, clinical research, and education.  The program is designed to allow the resident to become familiar with all aspects of emergency care, including pharmacotherapy, toxicology, emergency preparedness, and regulatory requirements specific to an ED setting. Specialty residents in emergency medicine will demonstrate an understanding and working knowledge of the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of disease states commonly seen within the ED. Upon completion of the residency, the resident will be familiar with all aspects of emergency care, including pharmacotherapy, toxicology, emergency preparedness, and regulatory requirements specific to the ED
