Job Description

Summary
Seeking a energetic, goal-focused individual with a bachelor’s degree in
food science to lead our organization into the future. The role will be the
manager of the HACCP plan as well as Manager of Quality Control and
Food Safety plans. Roles and responsibilities for each are below.

Roles and Responsibilities

The individual will be responsible for leading the company effort in
completing all necessary requirements to maintain the USDA Grant of
Inspection, including, but not limited to:

• Ensure the grounds, facilities, equipment and utensils, sanitary
  operations
• Employee hygiene to meet regulatory Good Manufacturing Practices
  (GMP)
• Prepare written Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP)
• Maintain our Food Defense Plan
• Maintain the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP)
  plan(s)
• Maintain the written Listeria control program
• Maintain product labels, markings, and brands
• Maintain quality control, including collecting samples from product in
  the plant, overseeing testing requirements and compliance,
  reviewing quality records for discrepancies and taking necessary
  corrective actions, and providing training on HACCP processes and
  procedures.
• Work with supervisors to maintain food safety, regulations, efficiency,
  etc.
• Entering data for efficiency measurements
• Submit and record test samples and results
• Conduct investigations for out of tolerance areas and implementing
  corrective action procedures.
• Light secretarial duties, answering phone, helping customers,
  assisting general manager and supervisors,
