JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Quality is responsible for planning, administration, and monitoring of consistent readiness of all quality management, regulatory requirements, and quality-improvement projects. The Director of Quality will oversee and coordinate all hospital efforts to monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory, state, federal requirements. The Director of Quality initiates and oversees the development of a comprehensive quality/performance improvement program. In collaboration with hospital leadership, staff, medical staff leadership, and the Board of Directors, the Director of Quality directs and coordinates quality/performance improvement and hospital initiatives. This position oversees the continual readiness for regulatory and certification surveys.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in health administration or clinical track. Master's Degree preferred.

Experience: Five-year' experience in healthcare field. Knowledge of regulatory standards, health care regulations and national quality indicators.

Licensure/Certification: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or equivalent preferred.
