The Children's Cochlear Implant Center at UNC is seeking an audiology extern for our large pediatric cochlear implant clinic for the 2023-2024 academic year. The Children's Cochlear Implant Center at UNC has been providing cochlear implants to children who are deaf and hard of hearing for over 30 years. We are a multi-disciplinary team that focuses on the support of families, clinical research and best practice in our approach to what is necessary for the successful use of cochlear implants.  Our externship placement is a specialized placement for those interested in pediatric cochlear implants.
