We are seeking a full-time QI analyst who will provide data analysis support to two primary care clinics on the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital campus: the Richard Fine People's Clinic (RFPC) and the Family Health Center (FHC).
The QI Analyst will learn and provide assistance in the quantitative and qualitative programmatic data analysis support to the clinical enterprises, with a focus on clinical quality improvement and streamlining and optimizing operations of the clinics. The position will work closely with the RFPC and FHC management teams to enact strategic planning efforts and implement continuous quality improvement programs.
The majority of the data-focused work will involve the production of reports that will support the on-going assessment of clinical services delivered through RFPC and FHC, the creation of data dashboards for providers and staff of the clinics, and data analysis to support their educational mission. The QI Analyst will, at times, under the direct supervision of the RFPC Medical Director, interact with patients (for example, phone outreach to patients transferring primary care providers, phone surveys to determine patient satisfaction.) Additionally, the QI Analyst will assist with training the medical scribe volunteers for the clinic (approximately 7 -10 individuals). This position will be responsible for assisting with the data and reports for multiple clinical quality and regulatory activities as assigned (examples include: perinatal activities and outcomes; chronic illness primary care targets; provider credentialing and other regulatory compliance). The position reports directly to the RFPC Medical Director, and also reports to and works closely with other members of the Management Teams, including the FHC Medical Director and FHC Leadership Team. The position has tremendous learning opportunities and areas for growth, and the individual in the position will receive robust mentorship from clinic leadership in the development of the role and responsibilities.
The QI Analyst must be able to carry out multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining critical attention to detail. It is imperative that this position diplomatically communicate between multiple parties to achieve the desired results and meet deadlines.
