DESCRIPTION

This Outpatient Rehab Manager position will provide direct supervision to therapy staff including but not limited to Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists, Front desk/Administrative Staff and Rehab Aides at two different locations. Responsibilities include but not limited to: maintaining department's efficiency, productivity and performance, resolves or escalates daily clinical program and operational issues. The Outpatient Manager will be responsible for leading two Rehab clinics in meeting organizational goals, exemplifying UC San Diego Health core values, and supporting efforts to provide outstanding patient care and customer service.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduation from an accredited school of Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy.

• Licensed in related Rehabilitation Service.

• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six months of hire date

• Five (5) or more years of relevant experience.

• Ability to run meetings, manage departmental scheduling, and have previous participation in regulatory affairs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy.
• Previous Rehab Leadership experience.
• Experience in Process Improvement (Lean/Six Sigma).
• Administrative experience and completing daily tasks to enable clinic functioning.
