The SLP supervisor will provide clinical services in the area of swallowing, voice and upper airway. Swallowing, voice and upper airway clinical experience required with strong instrumental assessment skills. Experience with Head and Neck Cancer, Neurological disorders, and Dynamic Swallow Study assessment preferred.
Provides supervision to SLP staff including other support staff as needed. Oversees employees, ensures compliance, enforces policies and procedures, is responsible for coordinating staff schedules, and monitors support staff efficiency and productivity, resolves or escalates daily clinical, program and operational issues. Supervises the delivery of interdisciplinary clinical services and ambulatory care, facilitating the flow of patient care activities and supervision and coordination of the clinical staff. Assists with development and implements patient customer care standards, individual SLP and team development, and ensures compliance with organizational and regulatory agency standards. Helps to support departmental education opportunities and research activities.
