External candidates hired into this classification as of 12/2/2021 to 6/30/22 are eligible for a $1,000.00 (one-time non-base building lump sum payment) sign-on bonus, provided they remain employed in the classification for at least sixty (60) calendar days.
Under the supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager and Registered Dietitian (RD), the Dietetic Assistant performs tasks that relate to the preparation and delivery of human milk and formulas and transfer of information concerning patient formula orders. Must adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations and standards established by the hospital and regulatory agencies. Performs inventory management, operates feeding preparation equipment, maintains sanitation in the preparation room, performs quality improvement activities, completes temperature records, communicates information through various telecommunication modes, and other related duties as assigned.

Infant Feeding Technician Certification will be required within six (6) months of hire.
Previous experience in infant milk and formula preparation, working with a hospital diet or in medical field.
Associate or bachelor's degree in Dietetic Technology or Nutrition and Dietetics.
Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (NDTR) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
