Assists with implementation of Quality/Performance Improvement objectives and has a significant role in ensuring accurate and compliant evidence based measure documentation and in reporting of quality of care outcomes. Contributes to the Quality Team by assisting in data capture, aggregation and analysis along with just-in-time education and facilitation of quality improvement projects. Activities are coordinated in conjunction with regulatory compliance and patient safety efforts. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Required: Bachelorâ��s Degree in a healthcare field required. Must be RN licensed in the state of Texas
Preferred: Masterâ��s Degree in a healthcare related field
Required: 3 years experience in healthcare or quality management
Preferred: 7 or more years of experience in healthcare quality improvement activities.
Required: RN License in the state of Texas
Preferred: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or other certification in healthcare quality. License in clinical discipline, strongly preferred
