What you’ll be doing...
The Senior Recruiter (Technology) - Talent Acquisition provides full life-cycle resourcing and applicant management across the EMEA region. You will be required to resource for requisitions in your respective region, provide market analysis and support, and/or create strategic resourcing initiatives in line with your regions business needs. You will work independently while continually partnering and collaborating with Business Partners and our stakeholders to ensure that all requisitions are resourced adequately. You will act as a trusted business partner and support the business by providing industry and market intelligence to ensure you are providing a best practice recruitment solution. You will help make Verizon Future ready by providing a premium candidate experience, consultative support to the EMEA team to influence hiring managers and other key stakeholders to ensure attraction of top talent while identifying any gaps for your clients (i.e. benchmarking, emerging markets, recruitment trends, premium interview experience, etc.).
Attracting, Assessing, Engaging, Interviewing and presenting a slate of high-quality/top candidates for business requirements/requisitions and maintain effective relationships with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
Building and maintaining a network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating an ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios.
Utilizing a variety of resources to source candidates including: job boards, interview calls, creative online searches, advanced headhunting techniques such as BOOLEAN and/or Xray methods, internal job posting site, and leveraging our employee referral programs.
Consistently maintaining talent pipelines, and your own personal network of pre-qualified profiles suitable for business review (‘Top5’ external profiles/talents) which you will leverage to identify for suitable requisitions.
Conducting telephone, video-conference and/or in-person interviews to evaluate applicants and refer qualified candidates to the hiring demands of the business function.
Developing and implementing effective passive and active candidate generation tactics.
Compiling and presenting Market insights/analysis by examining hiring needs, generate reports, and make recommendations on market/competitor activity and technology trends (acting as a market SME).
Executing all requisitions resourcing in your aligned region and provide support across the full life cycle of recruitment.
Supporting resourcing plans aligned to business/functional strategies (current and future business needs).
Collaborating with your manager and extended team as necessary in order to sufficient resourcing support to assigned client base (including any business aligned strategic hiring programs / projects).
Maintaining applicant management system, ensuring records and activity is reflected in the required systems/tools.
Ensuring that all procedures/process are in full legal compliance (including appropriate local legislation requirements).
Assisting in achieving the broader Talent Acquisition Key Performance Indicators & Service Level agreements.

What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
Experience as a Senior Recruitment Consultant.
Experience in Technology/Technical recruitment.
Experience recruiting in a Corporate, In-House, RPO and/or Agency recruiting environment.
Experience in building effective Sourcing strategies to attract, source, engage and hire high-quality/top talents by optimizing the utilization of the sourcing tools/techniques.
Experience in understanding the changing market trends and competitive landscape, and applying understanding to create optimized approach to source top talent.
Previous experience generating a consistent pipeline of high-quality candidates within tight timelines utilizing a variety of resourcing channels/resources.
Experience in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as PeopleSoft, Workday, etc.., and the regulatory/compliance requirements in region.
Previous experience working on project aligned hiring activity (working to project plans, delivery lines, etc.)
Experience developing and delivering end-to-end recruitment campaign strategies to meet client requirements in a complex global enterprise.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Knowledge of EMEA wide recruiting practices, compensation/rewards plans and legislative requirements.

Advanced C-suite stakeholdering experience.

Strong analytical skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
In depth experience using data to make hiring/business recommendations across the broader EMEA region.
In depth working knowledge with global stakeholders (i.e. Business, Compensation, HRBP’s, and HR Services, internal/external Candidates).
Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
Ability to build and foster relationships locally and remotely.
