The Imaging Program Manager works collaboratively with Breast Imaging leadership and Medical staff to coordinate the Imaging services provided. Ensures Imaging tests are compliant with all applicable accrediting agencies and that staff are competent in the performance of this testing. Ensures contracts, purchases and plans are compliant and within Fairview's and regulatory agency standards.
Works with Breast Imaging leads, managers, directors, and medical directors to ensure breast imaging operations are meeting quality/accreditation requirements, as well as meeting the needs of their customers.
Participates in the development of operations and capital budgets. Recommends needed changes in service, space, equipment, materials, revenue, and personnel.
Coordinates quality improvement activities, disseminating across all breast imaging locations. Assists with workflow/lean assessment and improvement activities.
Acts as a liaison for communication across Imaging Services and in cross-functional improvement activities.
Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
Performs other responsibilities as needed/assigned.
