We are currently seeking a Project Manager, RAQA to join our Medical (Sage) Division to be based in Cary, IL. The Project Manager, RAQA will become part of a highly engaged, fun and successful team in support Sage's unique portfolio of medical device, drug and cosmetic products distributed around the world.

What you will do
As the Project Manager, RAQA,you will lead a diverse group of stakeholders dedicated to the successful execution of Sage's regulatory and quality driven projects. In this position, you will ensure the on-time and on-budget delivery of high-profile strategic initiatives which enable global market expansion and compliance with regulatory requirements supporting Sage's growing portfolio of diverse products.
Responsible for assembling a project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
Record detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders to establish the project deliverables.
Responsible for project budget estimation, monitoring, and attainment throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure a common understanding by setting expectations in accordance with the project plan to align the stakeholders and team members.
Lead the identification, assessment, monitoring, and closure of project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques to keep the project plan accurate, updated, and reflective of authorized changes to facilitate customer acceptance.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.
What you need
A minimum of a bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) required, preferably in Management or related discipline.
A minimum of 5 years of related business experience required; medical device/pharma preferred.
Previous experience managing projects required; preferably in RA, QA or R&D.
Excellent interpersonal communication, collaborative teamwork, and negotiation skills.
A PMP certification or equivalent (i.e. PRINCE2) desired.
A general understanding in Regulatory Affairs preferred.
Previous experience with Quality Systems preferred.
Ability to build trusting relationships with mid-level management.
Demonstrated experience in presenting to executives.
Ability to generate and explain detailed proposals, schedules, objectives, and other documentation accurately.
Utilize proper software to maintain project records such as MSPO, Smartsheet, MS Office, SharePoint, or Visio.
