The Association of California Water Agencies seeks a State Relations Analyst.
The State Relations Analyst is responsible for researching and analyzing state legislation, regulatory issues, and public policy in relation to their potential impact on ACWA’s water district members. The State Relations Analyst writes policy analyses, performs research, tracks legislation, and responds to member requests and inquiries. The State Relations Analyst also edits and drafts key documents such as legislative position letters and regulatory comment letters, and updates on policy issues and programs.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The salary range is $31.35 – $44.93 per hour. Salary placement is based on qualifications. ACWA offers a competitive benefits package that includes CalPERS retirement, medical insurance, and dental insurance.

Candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a job related field and, at a minimum, one year of state legislative or public policy experience in California.
