Schedule Research visits such as study qualification visits, study initiation visits, study monitoring visits etc.
Organize and distribute itineraries.
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external constituents involved with these visits.
Set up teleconferences and meetings with appropriate audio visual equipment.
Compose and/or prepare simple business correspondence, memoranda, and simple promotional materials requiring medical terminology.
Prepare presentations for faculty as requested.
Clinical Research Support (50%)
Maintain detailed filling systems for research subject data and regulatory documents.
Deliver items throughout the Academic Health Center and to University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital as requested (including documents and files to researchers, packages, patient biological specimens, etc.)
Data abstraction and data entry for assigned research projects including patient registry studies.
Mail out clinical research related letters monthly.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Perform data analyses and work with team statisticians.
Perform scientific writing.

Required Qualifications:
BS/BA and 1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience to equal five years.
Ability to work 2-10 hours per week during normal business hours (Monday-Friday between 8:00 am-4:30pm). Additional hours may be available during breaks and summer months depending on need
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Google Calendar)
Excellent attention to detail

Ability to problem-solve and multi-task
Participation in analysis of clinical research data
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate Student
Experience reviewing medical records
Medical Terminology coursework or relevant experience in a medical setting
