The purpose of this position in the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center is to facilitate and advance a functional precision diagnostic platform (oncology) toward a clinical feasibility trial including subject and data management, according to federal regulations, Good Clinical Practice, and local and institutional policies. These responsibilities relate to the mission of the UNC/LCCC Clinical Trials Office by maintaining the quality of research and by addressing patient safety and regulatory compliance which impact research quality and safeguard institutional integrity. This position will be fully dedicated to (1) facilitating and coordinating patient tumor acquisition; (2) managing a dedicated REDCap database for our clinical cases and acting as an honest broker for patient data deidentification; (3) leading the writing of documents for tissue and/or data transfer between our team at UNC and our collaborators at other institutions; and (4) Promoting and supporting the development of a clinical feasibility trial.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
