In 2008, Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP (DTBA) opened a new facility in Nashville, TN for e-discovery and computer forensics work. DTBA's E-Discovery Solutions Center ("EDSC") continues to increase the capacity, quality, and efficiency of DTBA' s e-file processing by utilizing state-of-the-art technology in a dedicated environment. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join DTBA's Analytic & Forensic Technology practice and help drive the success of the EDSC.
The EDSC will be a 24x7, 365 days a year operation. The position is located in Nashville, TN.
Work You'll Do
As a Manager with our Business Analyst team you'll focus on performing detailed requirements analysis, processes documentation, and performing some user acceptance testing. This is a hands-on role that will help, design, document and demonstrate solutions in a very collaborative, team-oriented manner
Â§ Responsible for documenting end user / stakeholder needs. Document assumptions, evaluate options, and validate recommendations addresses need.
Â§ Build sprint backlogs by working with the Product Owner and users to specify development ready user stories.
Â§ Collaborate with QA to develop acceptance tests / criteria for user stories.
Â§ Negotiate planned changes in the form of minimum viable changes with stakeholders.
Â§ Support the Scrum Master as needed to help identify potential impediments and facilitate clearing them to ensure the team is working as efficiently as possible.
Â§ Collaborate on deliverables with off-shore resources.
Â§ Maintains an understanding of other teams within Discovery and is a Subject Matter Expert on the various functions and products .
Â§ Comprehensive skills using models and other visualization methods to express and understand business need.
Â§ Perform other duties as assigned .
Â§ Bachelor's degree required. Information Systems or Decision Science type degrees preferred.
Â§ 3 or more years of experience in in technical leadership.
Â§ Proven ability to work effectively on projects following Scrum principles, with expert working knowledge of the concepts , tools, and practices.
Â§ Basic SQL Skills.
Â§ Strong MS Office skills.
Â§ Working knowledge of Microsoft development platforms
Â§ Knowledge of common e-Discovery tools is a plus (i.e. Concordance, Relativity, Clearwell, IPRO, and OCR software packages).
Â§ Scrum Certified a plus.
Â§ Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with all levels and areas of expertise.
Â§ Ability to identify project risks and escalate in a timely manner.
Â§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Â§ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Â§ A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
Â§ A track record of following through on commitments.
Â§ Successful experience and strategies for managing offshore/remote team .
Â§ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
