The Division of General Medicine seeks a full-time Research Assistant to support a NIH-funded study: Mechanisms addressing the causal relationships of sleep, circadian rhythms, and cardiometabolic health.
Perform recruitment of study participants
Schedule appointments and testing procedures with participants
Prepare and assist with study visits and testing
Perform routine blood sample processing and storage
Perform data entry, maintain study files and biospecimens
Order laboratory and study supplies
Assist in preparation of data reports
Prepare documents for regulatory approvals
Perform additional related duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree and at least 1.5 years of related experience or equivalent in education, training and experience
Close attention to detail
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Excellent inter-personal and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
The candidate selected for this position is required to undergo a drug screening test prior to a final offer of employment being made
Participation in the medical surveillance program
Contact with human research participants
Potential bloodborne pathogen exposure
Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
