BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Serves as an internal consultant and institutional resource on Organization Development, Talent Management and Leadership Development including: team building, conflict resolution, change management, workforce development, leadership and other general organizational issues.A Designs and delivers programs addressing the current and future state of the ETCHas culture.A Key Measures being increase in retention and employee engagement.
Minimum Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Education, or Organizational Management required.A Masters degree preferred.
Minimum Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in organizational development required, including leadership assessment and development, group coaching, teambuilding, succession planning and employee onboarding/engagementA A -Emphasis on experience with onboarding, employee experience and leadership development in a health care work place is desirable
Required Licenses/Certifications for position: Talent development or leadership development preferred.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate methods of delivery of information and the ability to develop and facilitate relevant and effective education, information, etc. for adult learners.
Demonstrated knowledge and ability to translate initiatives to organizational outcomes a retention, performance, workforce development
Knowledge and experience with LMSs and regulatory compliance modules
Other important skills include mentoring and fostering empowerment.
Knowledge and experience with diversity and inclusion at an organizational level
Demonstrated knowledge and abilities with social media platforms and intranets
Ability to function with little supervision in leading and managing strategic projects.
East Tennessee Children's Hospital is a 152-bed hospital certified by the state of Tennessee as the only Comprehensive Regional Pediatric Center in East Tennessee and is accredited by the Joint Commission. As a Comprehensive Regional Pediatric Center, Children's Hospital offers full capabilities to care for seriously ill children in a unique pediatric environment and offers the services of many different pediatric subspecialties. Children's Hospital works jointly with the University of Tennessee Medical Center to ensure that injured children in this region receive trauma care at the institution most appropriate for the child's needs. We also assist smaller hospitals by providing pediatric health care training opportunities.
