This Clinical Nutrition Manager will be responsible for:
Staff recruitment and selection process. Evaluating, developing and conducting orientation, training and continuing education programs within Feeding Preparation Center. Administering competency assessments for professional, technical and support staff.
Managing, motivating and developing staff. Conducting performance reviews and recommending hires, promotions, pay increases and disciplinary action
Evaluating, developing and conducting orientation, clinical training and continuing education programs within department.
Developing and implementing nutrition related goals/objectives, policies and procedures, and standards of care in collaboration with other hospital staff to improve efficiency and quality of patient care and overall operations in the Feeding Preparation Center.
Monitoring and maintaining compliance with departmental quality improvement initiatives, governmental and accreditation requirements, professional credentialing and state licensure requirements. Applying regulatory knowledge of regulatory agencies including Joint Commission, DPH, FDA and CMS.
May provide direct patient care.
To qualify, you must have...
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or closely related field; Master's degree, preferred
Six years of progressive dietetic experience in Pediatric Nutrition, including demonstrated project management and leadership experience. Experience with Centralized Feeding Preparation/Milk Lab, a plus.
Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian.
Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian.
