This position is responsible for providing consistent and complete documents for Specialty Patient Programs (SPP) operations. The Technical and Business Writer will be responsible for creating and updating Specialty Patient Program Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), various templates/forms and other controlled documentation.
Section A - Specific Responsibilities
Create/edit/maintain SOPs, WIs, Guidance Documents (GD), Exception Documents (ED) for technical and non-technical procedures within the SPP department
Create/edit/maintain step-by step procedural documents using standard templates for new and existing programs
Work with the Directors and/or Managers in the Manufacturer Portfolio Team (MPT) to create program specific WIs, GDs, EDs; maintain and update these documents in collaboration with Directors and/or Managers MPT and Supervisors
Create overarching non-program specific WIs wherever possible
Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRD) in collaboration with Project Managers and Directors and/or Managers MPT; implement edits to BRDs based on feedback from subject matter experts
Interview subject matter experts to ensure SOPs, WIs, GDs and BRDs accurately reflect contractual agreements
Consulted for Change Requests to provide Impact Analysis for controlled documentation such as: SOP, WI, GD, ED, forms, and templates.
Provide ongoing support to strategic projects and initiatives.

Section B - Position Requirements
Experience in a patient services role would be an asset
Minimum 1-3 years relevant experience in a role requiring document creation
Bilingual (English/French) would be an asset
Exceptional skills in MS Office specifically Word, Excel, and Visio
Demonstrated time management skills and ability to effectively manage multiple project(s)/tasks(s)
Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
Ability to take initiative, multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment
Requires little to no supervision
Very strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Career Level - IC - Professional - P2
