This position provides direct management and leadership direction for clinical operations of the Flow Cytometry, Hemostasis & Thrombosis, Immunology and other related test platforms in the laboratory and supports the mission and objectives of OHSU Healthcare. The incumbent works cooperatively with the Administrative Department Director & appropriate medical & scientific lab directors to manage the physical & human resource assets of the department in accordance with departmental, hospital and corporate policies. The incumbent is responsible to maintain all laboratory operations at high standards consistent with all quality policies and to meet all accreditation requirements.

Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Medical technology, chemical, physical, biological science, business management or related field
Experience: 4 years supervisor/lead experience in hospital lab services or equivalent. 4 years of work experience predominantly in a clinical laboratory
Certification: MLS (ASCP), MT(ASCP), MLT(ASCP) or equivalent
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
Masters or advanced degree in technical, business or related field
Experience in a tertiary care hospital. Experience in a fast paced, multidisciplinary laboratory environment
