Work you'll do
Support CFIUS mission to ensure that foreign direct investment (FDI) in U.S. companies do not threaten the national security interests of the United States.
Identify and review transactions that were previously disclosed to CFIUS that may also raise national security concerns. CFIUS is one of a number of USG mechanisms that sit at the intersection of national security and economic security.
Assist in determining and managing priorities, goals, timelines, and other management objectives for a variety of efforts in the CFIUS Policy office.
Draft position papers and briefing materials to assist in supporting senior agency officials, and the broader committee leadership.

Our professionals help our clients to identify, combat, and mitigate national security threats such as fraud, money laundering, sanctions violations, cybercrime, threats of terrorism, human trafficking, narcotics trafficking, litigations, and disputes.
Bachelor's degree required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Active TS/SCI security clearance required
This position is supporting our client in a critical public policy CFIUS role. There is no on-the-job training, it requires someone who has demonstrated experience providing CFIUS policy support to the government.
Demonstrated experience in open source intelligence (OSINT), due diligence research and investigations, and/or intelligence research & analysis support experience.
Possess a working knowledge of, and experience in, national security, foreign investments, critical technology sectors, and the international business environment.
Ability to interpret legislative, regulatory, and policy guidance to determine the effects on programs and provide strategic recommendations
Experience with data gathering and analysis, as well as business analysis
Experience with public policy analysis
Proficiency with Project Management Office (PMO)
Experience with creative briefing
Demonstrated ability to perform technical writing
Technical writing and briefing experience preferred
Working knowledge of and/or experience in advising on, developing, and/or implementing regulations for a federal agency
