The Senior Recruiter will be responsible for:
Managing an active workload of open requisitions, filling primarily professional, supervisory and management positions. Sources, screens, interviews, and recommends appropriate candidates to managers.
Facilitating high quality recruiting strategy meetings. Identifying strategies and opportunities to meet short and long term business objectives.
Creating and executing a plan for each manager's need, partnering with HR Consultants and Compensation partners in development of effective plans.
Developing and managing a talent pipeline to ensure qualified candidates when needed.
Providing objective assessments of candidates to managers and effectively manages candidate flow. Coaches managers in effective screening, interviewing and selection techniques as necessary.
Corresponding with candidates, providing complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the hospital and the position.
Staying informed of regulatory changes, trends, and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in with best practices.
Effectively managing workflow utilizing best practice recruiting methodology within the parameters of OFCCP/EEO, Affirmative Action plan, and other legal and regulatory compliance requirements. Appropriately disposition candidates and assures manager understanding of hospital commitment to diversity and fairness.
Managing job posting activities, including internal posting practices, electronic job board traffic and agency referral activity. Maintains accurate records and consistently update applicant tracking system.
Effectively negotiating offers, emphasizing the needs of the hospital and identifying those of the candidate.
Developing strong relationships and partner with hiring manager, to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
Networking and participating in appropriate external events to enhance marketplace knowledge and visibility.
Participating in Talent Acquisition related projects in either a team member capacity as the subject matter expert, or as a lead on projects with a medium to large scope/budget.
To qualify, you must have:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration or related field.
Minimum of six years of recruiting experience.
Prior recruitment experience within Life Science, Biogen or Healthcare Research highly preferred.
Meets or exceeds the required knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies.
Experience may substitute for degree.
The ability to drive results, ensuring that staffing activity is meeting/exceeding hospital's requirements. Strong communication skills both orally and in writing with emphasis on negotiation and persuasion skills.
