The University of Michigan Neuropsychology Program is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to serve as a full-time Study Coordinator for an ongoing project involving driving in aging. Job responsibilities are detailed below. This position is under the leadership of the three collaborating Driving Project principal investigators. The individual will report directly to the Administrator of the Neuropsychology Program. The position is located at the Neuropsychology Program, 2101 Commonwealth Blvd, Suite C, Ann Arbor, MI.
The primary responsibilities of this position are to initiate and assist in carrying out all research related responsibilities under the instruction and direction of the Driving Project principal investigators. This will include:
Management of day-to-day Driving Program research operations;
Assist with development and implementation of research recruitment strategies;
Scheduling of study visits, procedures, and follow-ups;
Careful collection, processing, and analysis of data;
Accurate administration of both paper/pencil and computerized neuropsychological assessments;
Monitor subject enrollment;
Maintenance and submission of regulatory documents to the IRB, including continuing reviews, protocol amendments, safety monitoring, and so forth;
Detailed study record retention and management;
Supervise research assistants and other trainees;
Travel to our collaborative campus, Detroit, and Dearborn research sites.

Bachelor degree or higher in a science, psychology, or health-related field, or equivalent education and experience;
Two or more years of research experience;
Self-motivated, highly dependable, independent worker with ability to efficiently and effectively multitask, prioritize, and problem solve;
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Proficiency in Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and so forth);
Experience in using electronic data entry systems;
Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends, as necessary.
Certification for Clinical Research Professionals (CCRP) through SOCRA or ACRP
Previous experience with coordination and management of federal or industry sponsored research trials
Previous work with Institutional Review Board
Proficiency in REDCap Database
Familiarity and experience with older adult populations, including individuals with cognitive impairment or dementia
Knowledge of University of Michigan research systems, including e-research and IRBMED
This is a term limited appointment for approximately five years, unless further funding is procured. If additional funding is not procured, the appointment will terminate and will not be eligible for Reduction in Force (RIF) benefits.
Must have reliable transportation since travel from other campus sites is required
