Position: Scrum Master - Monterrey

Location: Monterrey, Nuevo Leon

Scrum Master - Monterrey

Looking for talented individuals to join our collaborative team as we rapidly expand our best-in-class solution capabilities in the Industrial Internet of Things space. Targeting candidates excited to work with new and emerging IIOT, advanced analytics, and augmented reality technologies. We are looking for people who have proven capabilities in extracting and unveiling the value behind data, the desire to consult clients to understand and guide their IIOT journeys, and the willingness to be a collaborative implementer of these solutions. Need to embrace human centric design approaches to provide modern user experiences layer on top o traditional manufacturing environments. This role is for you if you want to be part of a team that empowers our clients by creating innovative digital solutions that unlock productivity, efficiency, and flexibility.
The work is fast paced, demanding, and provides unparalleled exposure to unique opportunities. The learning curve and be quite steep at times, but our team will help you develop a broad set of skills and enable you to explore areas that are of interest to you. This position requires creative problem-solving skills, significant interaction with both team members and project stakeholders, as well as creating and maintaining appropriate project documentation for all parties.
Main Responsibilities
  • Actively work with team to manage project deliverables
  • Coordinate and lead team meetings/standups
  • Formulates and executes project work plans with their team(s)
  • Own change management process to reflect evolving requirements
  • Coordinate and lead release cycles
  • Identify and plan resource needs throughout the project, and coordinate with stakeholders the ensure appropriate staffing
  • Manages identification and resolution of project risks and issues
  • Monitors and communicates team metrics, such as velocity and backlog burndown
  • Ensure project closure activities are completed, including conducting final project lessons learned/retrospective session
  • Timely coordination of project communication with team, stakeholders and related parties
  • Document all aspects of the project - project deliverables, timelines, plans, dependencies, now/near/next roadmaps and maintains these artifacts through project lifecycle
  • Proactively works to build and encourage strong internal and external networks to ensure internal and external client needs are effectively met
  • Leads by example in demonstrating honesty, integrity and professionalism across all aspects of the business
  • Understands and manages business complexity and project interdependencies
  • Consistently applies problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities for project success


Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience in a technical development or consulting environment
  • Proficiency using Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional project management principles and practices, with an ability to blend multiple methodologies as necessary based on project requirements
  • Willing and able to travel and work at client sites. Travel can vary on assignment from 0% to 100% but can average 30%
  • Self-motivated with organizational skills
  • Strong communication in English, both written and verbal
  • Job is based in Monterrey, Mexico, relocation will be necessary

Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with issue-tracking tools (i.e., Jira, Trello, Quickbase, etc.)
  • Familiarity with roadmap and planning tools (i.e., Product-Plan, ASANA, QuickBase, etc.)
  • Demonstrable experience successfully leading varied, diverse, and distributed teams
  • Experience managing client projects in a consulting environment preferred
  • Must be able to pick up technical and business concepts quickly and understand technical issues at a sufficiently deep level to identify risks or issues
  • One or more related professional certifications (i.e. Scrum Master or Project Manager)
