Director--Conflict of Interest Office

This position provides day-to-day oversight of the operations of the Conflict of Interest (COI) Office, and supports the functions and activities of the COI Committee related to the management of potential conflicts of interest arising at the University. Responsibilities include developing COI management plans; managing the reporting of financial conflicts to funding agencies; developing training programs for faculty, staff, students regarding COI; office budget approval; overseeing workflow within the COI Office; oversight of the process for collecting disclosures from University members. This position is goal-oriented, requiring independent work under guidance from the Vice Chancellor for Research Protections and/or the Chair of the COI Committee. The incumbent will supervise four COI Office Staff members.

Background Requirements: Extensive background in regulatory compliance at an academic institution, preferably related to management of conflict of interest and conflict of commitment. |
