Job Description SummaryThis position will support Greystar's new business, Modern Living Solutions, which will manufacture modular bathrooms for our development projects across the United States. The Human Resources Manager will be on-site at our 256,000 square foot industrial factory on 40+ acres in Knox, Pennsylvania, that will serve as the production facility for Modern Living Solutions. This position will be responsible for the development, implementation and execution of best practice programs, policies, and processes that ensure the Company's compliance with EEO, federal, state and country specific employment laws. Additional responsibilities include planning and directing all phases of employee relations and performance management activities for team members, implementation and administration as well as partnering with other HR subject matter experts on compensation, benefits, recruiting, hiring, etc. ensuring quality operations of human resource processes, providing direction, guidance, and support to leaders.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and reporting in compliance with EEO, federal, state, and country specific employment laws.
Partner withCorporateTalent Acquisition and Modern Living Solutions Leadershipto facilitaterecruiting, interviewing, and selecting candidates to fill vacant positions.
Design and implement all new team member onboarding. Ensure new team member onboarding fosters positive attitude toward company goals.
Participate in safety committee and conduct facility walk-throughs to identify safety issues. Regularly communicate with factory team members to understand any safety concerns and/or suggested improvements.
Work with Plant Leadership and Employee Relations in appropriate resolution of Team Member relations issues.
Assist in investigations of Team Member relations issues.
Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
Advocate and administer Performance Review and Merit programs to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Lead team member feedback sessions.
Ensure facility is Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) compliant.
Coordinate and lead e team member trainings.
Investigate accidents and prepare reports for insurance carrier.
Manage team member documentation, information, and status changes in HRIS system, as needed.
Review time-card compliance and ensure timely submission to payroll.
