Manager of Tissue & Eye Recovery
Lifeline of Ohio
Lifeline of Ohio is an independent, non-profit organization that promotes and coordinates the donation of human organs and tissue for transplantation. Lifeline of Ohio serves 90 hospitals in 38 counties in Ohio and two in West Virginia and is designated as an organ procurement organization through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Since 1985, we have worked to empower our community to save and heal lives through organ, eye and tissue donation. We are proud of our rich history and look forward to attracting a mission-driven tissue leader. The successful tissue manager will manage the tissue and eye recovery functions with the overall goal to maximize every opportunity for donation. Maintain strategic working relationships with hospital partners, tissue processors, coroner offices, and funeral homes that build trust, remove barriers, and address stakeholder needs. Increase the overall volume of all aspects of tissue and corneas recovered for transplant. Develop a change-ready team sought out by partners to explore new opportunities for innovation in tissue and eye recovery.
