We have an outstanding opportunity for an Operational Risk Senior Analyst to join our Risk Management team in London for a 6-9-month fixed term contract. You will take a role in the Operational Risk and Governance function in the 2nd line of defense, supporting our activities in the EMEA region.
You will support the independent oversight, reporting and insights of risk exposure vs appetites at a regional and legal entity level. Combining the analysis of operational risk data captured across our Business and Functional Groups, with the risk assessment and insights of colleagues in our global Operational Risk and Governance team, you will prepare reporting for management teams and legal entity boards.
In the oversight of operational risk management activities in the 1 st line of defense, you will support the assessment of the adequacy and effectiveness with which the entity operational risk management framework is being applied and driving best practice in its implementation. With responsibilities to maintain local policy and framework documentation, there will also be the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of these activities across entities.
You will have a strong understanding of operational risk and risk management practices, drawn from experience of working within a risk and control focused role, ideally within another financial institution. Detail focused, you will be able to analyse data and draw risk-based conclusions. Your strong communication and relationship management skills will see you effectively build relationships with stakeholders locally and with colleagues in the Risk Management Group globally.
