The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Subcontracting/Labeling Subject Matter Expert, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Providing business and process knowledge to local and regional teams
Supporting CBG deployment of 3M subcontractors, including prioritization within and across divisions
Supporting CBG deployment of the standard labeling solution
Working cross-functionally with all necessary BT functions (STP, FTS, LEX, OTC, RTR, MTD) to deploy the global subcontractor and labeling design
Working cross-functionally within CBG to rationalize and standardize labels at all pack levels
Leading CBG activities to complete Subcon and Labeling implementation deliverables including BP906, BP910, Org Hierarchy, Subcontracting Line Designs
Assisting in the support of regional testing teams through Product Integration Testing (PIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) execution
Assisting local Subcontracting and Labeling Superusers, SMEs, and End Users in preparing for Go-Live activities
Implement standard work, processes, and best practices as defined by the global Subcon and Labeling Teams
Providing support as needed for ongoing CBG subcon and labeling operations
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Five (5) years of combined manufacturing and/or supply chain experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience working with suppliers / vendors
Experience / knowledge of on-demand labeling processes, data requirements and business requirements
Experience with SAP's subcontracting functionality and solutions
Experience participating on / leading cross-functional project teams
3M Demand, Supply and/or Production Planning experience
Experience providing training to individuals and groups
Self-directed; able to work remotely without daily face-to-face contact with others
Flexible; able to adapt to changing timelines and requirements
Project management skills with ability to develop and execute a plan
Detail-oriented with strong communication skills - written and verbal
Ability to develop others and self
Travel: May include up to 15% domestic/international
Location: Maplewood, MN or US Remote Location
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
