This position is a combined Clinical Research Coordinator and Administrative Assistant role. As a research coordinator you will be working with Dr. Michael Holick and his various clinical research projects. The research focuses on Vitamin D and Ehler-Danlos Syndrome. In addition, there will be tasks as a clinical research coordinator including but not limited to the following: coordinate IRB related activities, participate in subject recruitment efforts, inform participants about study objectives and adhering to research regulatory standards and ethical standards. Administrative work includes but is not limited to: filing, set up meetings, screening phone calls and routing them to the correct party.
BA/BS required
Candidate must have strong communication and organizational skills and be able to remain flexible and adaptable
Ability to multi-task and problem solve is essential
At least 2 years of experience as a clinical research coordinator with knowledge of IRB related activities.
Excellent writing skills
Detail oriented
Strong digital literacies, including experience with databases, spreadsheets, Microsoft PowerPoint, word processing
