Department Name: 7H859:ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY Job Summary: Duties of this position include clinical research administration and management of the trials conducted by Paul E. Matuszewski, MD., on behalf of the orthopaedic trauma division; management of participants and regulatory efforts of the trauma division are of utmost importance in successfully accomplishing the research goals of our department. Other duties include but not limited to the following: support and direct the research administration activities of staff assigned data entry and data management duties; supervise timely data management completion and follow-up on clinical trials to ensure compliance with communication of research result; develop tools to expedite accurate clinical documentation, patient education, provide mentoring and project specific education to Orthopaedic administrative staff, residents and fellow; assist in preparation of research manuscripts and prepare basic statistics for clinical research.
