Our company is growing and we need to add an Escrow Assistant to our team. We are looking for a candidate that conducts herself/himself in a professional manner giving customers a good first impression in both appearance and attitude; strong verbal and written communication skills; able to multitask and prioritize multiple projects/requests without getting easily flustered; consistently meet deadlines; possesses problem-solving abilities; highly dependable; excellent organizational skills. You should have a passion maintaining personal relationships and providing excellent service to clients. As a small office, all employees must have a "team player" attitude and work ethic. We want our clients to have a "boutique experience" and are looking for a great fit for our team as we grow.
You will be responsible for processing escrow documents in strict accordance with established policies and procedures. You will complete real estate escrow transactions by assessing and resolving requirements; clearing title; preparing, and reviewing closing documents and disbursing funds all to lender specifications. Our company utilizes Ramquest and experience with this system is strongly preferred.
You may also assist in obtaining clear title by ordering title reports; resolving title defects; satisfying existing liens and encumbrances against property or principals along with the following:
Preparing transaction documents by completing forms and statements; collecting and reviewing documents; explaining provisions and procedures; answering questions; checking documents for completeness and accuracy; obtaining signatures.
Completing calculations, prorating taxes, interest, closing, recording and filing documents.
Following regulatory requirements by adhering and enforcing requirements.
1+ years’ experience directly handling escrow transactions as an escrow assistant or escrow officer.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Strongly prefer experience with Ramquest.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
