Job Summary

The Superintendent is responsible for maintaining high caliber, top performing golf course and practice facility which promote an exceptional golf experience for our members and guests. Responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the golf courses including, turf grass/plant material maintenance programs, property/asset management, project management, personnel management, budget/forecasting, financial management, member relations, scheduling/maintenance or irrigation systems, pesticide applications, related recordings, and compliance of regulatory issues. This position reports directly to the Director of Agronomy and works closely with the Director of Golf on course conditions and playability and communicates and interacts with members regularly through written and in-person appearances.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 previous years of experience in a leading management role at a top private club
• Two year Turfgrass Management Certificate at an accredited University
• Pesticide and Spraying Applicator License
• A demonstrated understanding of the culture and climate of the area
