THIS IS A GRANT-FUNDED POSITION.
JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, this position works within Psychiatry to assist research a broad range of psychiatric and related conditions using human participants. Specific duties entail assisting with grant writing, IRB compliance, participant screening, enrollment, and safety; data collection, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and other duties as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with extracting and analyzing data collected from behavioral, imaging, clinical, demographic, intervention, and treatment outcomes.
- Oversees documentation compilation and reports data quality checks to the principal investigator.
- Conducts literature searches/systematic reviews, presents data, and assists with data publication, grant/manuscript writing, and the preparation of proposals, as requested.
- Maintains regulatory documentation and experiment/protocol records.
- Supervises subject screenings, consents, set up and completion of studies, oversight for adverse events, and regulatory documentation.
- Maintains efficient laboratory operation; orderly up-to-date laboratory records; and laboratory inventory/supplies/equipment.
- Participates in community outreach to enhance patient recruitment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
