Summary IT Applications Administrator’s primary role is supporting and administering the organization’s software solutions, including providing expert support, problem resolution, updating software as needed, integrating with other solutions, solution configuration, recommending new software solutions to meet the organization’s needs, general maintenance of the solutions and documentation. As part of the IT Department’s requirements for 24/7 support services, the IT Applications Administrator may be called upon for after hours or weekend support and maintenance activities, both scheduled and unscheduled. The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently and as a member of a close team servicing a wide variety of customers, both internal and external to the firm. This position is an exempt IT position. This position reports to the Applications Manager. There are no direct reports to this position. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Primarily complete life-cycle administration for assigned applications, including any planning or project management required and working with all applicable firm personnel to help improve the application experience, use and value to the organization. Manages the implementation, keeping software up-to-date, optimal configuration and planning for future needs of all assigned applications. Requirements Ideal candidates have advanced knowledge of a few (or all) of the following: Microsoft AD environment, Microsoft Office 365, iManage, SQL, SCCM, Citrix, SharePoint, project management and systems administration best practices. Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds.
