New England Cancer Specialists (NECS) is expanding and is currently seeking a full time Certified Genetic Counselor to remotely provide family history assessment and cancer genetic counseling for our patients with cancer, a family history of cancer, and at risk for cancer utilizing telehealth services. Telehealth appointments are schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 AM Eastern Standard Time to 4:30 PM Eastern Standard Time. The successful candidate will work with both patients in Maine and New Hampshire and must be able to obtain licensing through the State of New Hampshire. Our Genetic Counselors are a vital part of the overall treatment of NECS’s patients, providing counseling, education, and support to an outpatient population working collaboratively with providers to give the best possible care as well as the best outcomes for our patients. NECS is a growing private medical practice composed of 15 oncologists and hematologists serving the state and region from 5 different locations in Maine and New Hampshire.
