Job Summary
Duties include Intravenous (IV) compounding, chemotherapy, Pyxis restocking and maintenance, unit dose prepackaging, basic supply chain operations and functions, controlled substance preparation and dispensing and basic pharmacy computer system operations.Serves as a role model and to the technician staff regarding patient-first customer service.Serves as a mentor and trainer of pharmacy technician staff.Assists with coordinating and directing the activities and priorities of pharmacy technician work. Assists with the oversight, maintenance, and development of automated dispensing services. Responsibilities

Education * High School Diploma or GED (Required) * Completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred.* Mandatory one year of pharmacy experience within the Denver Health Ambulatory Pharmacy Department

Credentials * PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (Required) Pharmacy Technician Certification with Colorado SBOP is required. Location Shift Work Type Pay Range Minimum: 18.27 Midpoint: 21.93 Maximum: 25.58 All job applicants for safety-sensitive positions must pass a pre-employment drug test, once a conditional offer of employment has been made.
