Job Description Morgan McKinley HR are supporting a business in Gloucestershire in recruitment for a new HR Business Partner on a permanent basis.
My client is a manufacturing business with sites across South Wales and South West. Their site in Gloucestershire is hiring for a new HRBP to work alongside a small but very effective HR team.
Reporting to a Group HR Manager you will be supporting around 170 people across 2 sites. Main duties will be:
To support line managers on all aspects of HR issues ad be a role model for challenging, coaching, directing and supporting and influencing others within all functions.
To develop, implement and advise on matters of HR policies and procedures and relevant employment legislation.
To manage the HR department , providing guidance and support the leadership team with HR issues.
To support managers when performance gaps are identified and take appropriate steps to address the gaps. Assists with the collation of information and develop a training needs analysis ensuring that agreed employees have a personal development plan
To report and analyse HR Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
To undertake Human Resources projects as and when required.
To work closely with managers to drive employee engagement
Provide management with support in relation to the control and management of both long term and short term absence, overtime and holidays. Analyse data to recognise trends and implement practices in order to avoid negative impacts on the business. This includes recommending employees for Occupational Health
To assist in the implementation and delivery of the company communication strategy. Ensuring all planned formal communication is completed in an effective and timely manner on a continuous basis.
