QA/QC Analyst (2100013) - St. Joseph, MO
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to interact daily with all plant personnel (supervisor, maintenance, operators, and distribution) as it relates to ensuring products are produced within specifications. You will analyze samples for release criteria and cross contamination. You will also monitor and audit the production process of manufactured goods.
This will be an excellent opportunity for you to demonstrate your knowledge of Microbiology (plating, PCR) and your experience in HPLC, viscosity, etc is a plus.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Formula for Success
Leveraging your education in Microbiology or a related field, you will analyze raw material, in-process and finished good samples. You will also inspect incoming components (cases, artwork, etc.).
Your keen attention to detail will be essential as you monitor and audit production process for manufactured goods. You will also be responsible for ISO audits.
Demonstrating your solid organizational skills, you will maintain records and reports associated with the function including SAP transactions.
Relying on any experience you may have in Quality Assurance, Quality Control and/or in a manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for housekeeping in the lab, maintaining 5S, and maintaining lab equipment.
Your unwavering commitment to compliance will be evident as you own responsibility of sample retention area and ensure all necessary samples are retained for the time required.
Utilizing your strong problem-solving ability, you will assist in investigating quality issues.
