Client Services Laboratory Representation Call Center Inova Laboratories is the only locally based, full service laboratory in Northern Virginia, offering hospital quality and same-day results for many tests. Our connectivity supports the continuum of care for patients in all care settings. Using state of the art automation and equipment, Inova Laboratories seeks every opportunity to meet the unique needs of each person we are privileged to serve - every time, every touch. Our Inova Center Lab is seeking a PART-TIME Client Services Laboratory Representation Call Center, Monday-Friday, Days/Evenings, Rotating Weekends. #-LI-RH2 IND6 Some of the duties include: * Provides quality customer and technical support by phone. * Follows reporting procedures. * Coordinates and dispatches courier services as needed. * Communicates to maintain team knowledge. * Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory standards in order to satisfy compliance requirements. * Participates in professional growth opportunities to enhance personal, team, and department development. Additional Information * Maintains positive client relationship through timely, courteous, accurate and efficient handling of calls. * Provides requested information to clients. * Introduces self and department when making and receiving calls. * Prints and process reports by 8am for reports to be courier delivered. * Supports clients with fax and printer inquiries. * Coordinates and dispatches courier services as needed. Provides tracking number to client. Ensures stat specimens are delivered to the lab timely. * Verifies all specimens have been received by the laboratory by the end of the shift. * Prefer Medical Terminology training. * Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory standards in order to satisfy compliance requirements. * Participates in professional growth opportunities to enhance personal, team and department development. * Prefer one year of call center, healthcare or clinical laboratory experience. * Phone etiquette and customer service skills are key to this position. * Follow reporting procedures. * Prints and process reports by 8am for reports to be courier delivered. * Supports clients with fax and printer inquiries. * Coordinates and dispatches courier services as needed. * Provides tracking number to client. * Ensures stat specimens are delivered to the lab timely. * Verifies all specimens have been received by the laboratory by the end of the shift.
