Initiate, conduct, complete, and report clinical research studies under the direction of the Principal Investigator. Assign and coordinate activities of study sites to ensure protocol, regulatory and standard operating procedures (SOP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) compliance. Recruit and screen study subjects; act as a liaison with study sponsors, collaborators and investigators; train health professionals, patients and families regarding the clinical study; maintain detailed study records and reports. Develop solutions to complex problems that impact the timely and accurate conduct of clinical research.
Bachelor's degree in science or a health-related field and two years of experience in clinical research; OR associate's degree in Allied Health professions/bachelor's degree in other disciplines and three years of experience in clinical research.
Clinical Research Certification (ARCP or SOCRA).
Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to develop and maintain rapport with professionals and study participants. Knowledge and understanding of case report forms/assessments, research methods, and study protocol. Ability to work as a team player, maintains accurate and organized records, and work with some level of independence. Strong interpersonal skills and extensive judgment are required to appropriately respond to participants' well-being, demeanor, and abilities. Proficient use of computers, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.
