ensures accurate diagnostic results -
prepares patients for and conducts routine and special END procedures, such as; routine, ambulatory, neonatal exams, long term video EEG's, evoked potentials, neuro monitoring, including diagnostic and investigative studies in the outpatient laboratory, at the bedside, and in the critical care units, on all ages of patients served by the department, WADA's, mentor junior neurodiagnostic technicians and END students (performing clinical rotation) by explaining procedures or demonstrating the proper maintenance of equipment -
ensures accurate diagnostic results of 24 hour Ambulatory EEG (Electroencephalogram)/editing and Epilepsy monitoring/editing providing quality Neurodiagnostic results consistent with department policies -
ensures accurate results of graphically recorded impulses generated by the brain and sensory pathways by performing Evoked Potential (BAER/VER/MNSSER/PTSSER) studies resulting in quality results consistent with department policies -
maintains patient safety ensuring quality care consistent with Inova, facility and department policies -
