Program Coordinator- Part Time

Position Summary:

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a motivated Program Coordinator for the NJ Hopeline Access Center within Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care (UBHC).

The Program Coordinator provides administrative leadership and supervision to staff of the Statewide Suicide Prevention Hotline during assigned shift. Provides oversight of all services and ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory standards.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Supervises staff as assigned by Director/Clinical Administrator.
• Performs duties relevant to leadership position and support goals and objectives of University Behavioral Health Care (UBHC).
• Maintains appropriate consumer/caller records as mandated by University Behavioral Health Care (UBHC) policy.
• Serves as liaison within the collaborating agencies, external funding sources, and other departments.
• Attends and conducts meetings relevant to administrative function.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Master's Degree in a mental health discipline plus four (4) years experience in behavioral health field.
• Applicants possessing a degree in Social Work must have an active New Jersey certification/licensure as required by the State Board of Social Work.
• Two (2) years of prior supervisory experience.
• An appropriate doctorate may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some experience with a word processor and data entry.

Special Conditions:

• Schedule is Saturday and Sunday 12am-8am
