Operations Associate (2002836) - Greenville, OH
Associate will load and process reactors and perform in-process quality testing.
Associate must be willing to work in a team-oriented atmosphere. This includes learning all the tasks and equipment associated with the process lane, helping coordinate the flow of work within the team and with other departments, and helping team associates to meet changing work demands.
Operator Associate will start at Level I and be expected to continually advance their skill sets and participate in the team rotation.
Familiarity with material handling safety / hygiene issues
Understanding of the operation and control of process equipment
Ability to perform in-process testing procedures, as directed
Ability to work in a team atmosphere with willingness and ability to help other team associates
Ability to drive tow motors/fork trucks
Maintain assigned inspections and housekeeping duties
Participate in safe work practices
Maintain a clean working environment
Perform effectively in a team-based environment
Perform all required health and safety inspections at prescribed frequencies
This is a safety sensitive position.
Occasional lifting, bending, and twisting of various range and motion requiring physical exertion when handling material, equipment.
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to stand and walk in work environment
Frequent use of stairs required.
Occasional use of respiratory protection including air purifying, air supplied, and self-contained air supplied respirators. Must pass fit test requirements for respiratory protection

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For In You...
High School Diploma or GED required
1 year of manufacturing / production experience required
General knowledge of plant chemical loading procedures and equipment (DCS operation, load forms, usage sheets, batch cards, move sheets, forklift, walker/stackers, etc.)
General knowledge of plant chemical handling procedures including use of the PPE database
Computer skills to accomplish training opportunities
General knowledge of reading/ understanding MPI's and associated documentation
Knowledge of plant equipment and procedures
Knowledgeable of Microsoft applications, familiar and comfortable with various onsite software and applications considered an asset
