The Clinical PsyD program at Yeshiva University's Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology in New York City invites applications for the position of Associate Professor & Program Director (with tenure). The position will start in Fall 2021. Candidates with expertise in all areas of adult clinical psychology will be considered. Applicants with a strong track record of research productivity, teaching at the doctoral level, and clinical training experience are sought. A history of external funding is preferred but not required. Prior experience as a program director or director of clinical training is strongly preferred. Salary is competitive / 9 months. Responsibilities include overseeing the clinical program for a minimum of three years with the option to renew; maintaining an independent program of research; mentoring students in doctoral research; graduate teaching; and clinical supervision. The candidate should be licensed or license eligible in New York State as a clinical psychologist. Position Responsibilities: Responsibilities and expectations include:
Graduate teaching and clinical supervision
Develop and maintain program of research
Mentor PsyD students in doctoral level research
Oversee the Clinical PsyD program for a minimum of three years with the option to renew
As Program Director, lead the Clinical PsyD program and work with faculty to establish vision and curriculum
Work with the Dean to set vision and policies for the school
Oversee adjunct faculty and clinical supervisor staffing
Admit and oversee all graduate students
Perform administrative duties related to the doctoral program and respond to regulatory bodies
Experience & Educational Background:
Doctoral degree in clinical psychology and be licensed or license eligible in New York State as a clinical psychologist
Strong track record of research productivity, teaching at the doctoral level, and clinical training experience
