As part of this team, you will play a critical role in our network transformation through building a unified network across all lines of business and maintaining the technology that keeps millions of our customers connected.

As a Project Manager in Wireless Transport, you will manage a variety of internal and external partners and vendors to coordinate the fiber delivery of all Wireless solutions within the NorCal/Nevada Sub-Market.

• Serving as the primary liaison between Verizon Wireless teams (Transport/RF/Real Estate) and Verizon Business OneFiber teams.
• Ensuring that these multi-stakeholder, complex projects are delivered in a timely manner to meet both monthly and annual POR targets.
• Maintaining the accuracy of data input across multiple tools to ensure Wireless and OneFiber teams are in sync with POR initiatives.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to establish project designs, scope, deliverables and timelines.
• Analyzing implications of changes from the original schedule and taking required corrective actions to ensure the project stays on track.
• Providing regular project status reports to management and the project team.

Being results-driven and well-organized, you are adept at identifying potential project roadblocks and developing mitigation strategies. Excellent communication and team building skills enable you to negotiate with internal and external partners to ensure nothing gets in the way of success. You thrive in a fast-paced, high demand environment, making effective decisions quickly, and juggling competing priorities with ease. You are a self-starter and proven motivator of others.

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Threeor more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience driving automation initiatives and process improvements.
• Experience managing projects and process/program management experience.
• Experience with project management tools and reporting.
• A valid Driver's license.

Even better if you have:

• A degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or Electronics.
• Strong skillset in data tools and relational databases.
• Experience with Ericsson/Nokia equipment.
• Knowledge of fiber installation and standards.
• Experience in telecommunications / data networking or wireless industry.
• A PMP certification.
• Experience with FUZE, XNG/Granite, Tableau.
