Reporting to the Assistant Director of Education, the Program Coordinator will provide administrative support for the Radiology Education office and will work collaboratively with students, trainees, faculty and staff.
Work with Program Directors and maintain trainees and alumni files and online databases for accreditation purposes (ACGME, GME Track, FREIDA, ABR) and post-graduate training verification.
Assists with the development and maintenance of trainees' schedules; process paperwork for electives, in-rotators and observers.
Assists in coordinating didactic and grand rounds lectures; records and tracks trainees' conference attendance.
Manage and maintain all information in medhub including rotation schedules, conference attendance, evaluation distribution, goals and objectives, duty hours, etc.
Ensures trainees memberships for educational organizations are active and up to date; processes all necessary paperwork for hospital and university appointments.
Acts as liaison with regulatory agencies, Dean's Office, Immigration Office and GME; coordinates in-service exams.
Manages schedules, evaluations and goals and objectives in medhub; coordinates new trainee orientation.
Organizes and coordinates all aspects of the recruitment process; prepares and submits rank order list to the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP)
Prepares agendas, reports and minutes for PEC, CCC and other educational meetings.
Coordinates educational activities including reserving conference rooms, ordering food, etc.
Coordinates medical students rotation and lecture schedules and maintain online course material.
Work on special projects for the Program Director and/or Assistant Director
Additional duties as assigned.
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience with at least two years of relevant experience.
Experience in medical and hospital education administration; experience with database management, medhub and ERAS.
Proficient with Excel and Word; ability to independently prioritize work; exceptional organizational skills; demonstrate initiative and ability to utilize resources effectively; excellent communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal); excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
