PRODUCTION CONTROL ANALYST

Position Summary
The Best Configuration Center is our EMEA center for late-point configuration and value added services. We perform assemblies and configurations on manufactured products close to the market to provide short lead-times and reliable Rockwell Automation products. As planning specialist you will be responsible for the planning, control, and analytics of the production services provided. You will have an opportunity to utilize your skillset for the continuous improvement of efficient manufacturing planning cadences with the organization. We are looking for an experienced planner that thrives in a fast-paced environment with high variety SKUs. Someone who is excited about the prospect to work on a function that combines production planning with logistics management.
Major Responsibilities
Planning the configuration center's daily production requirements based on the corporate master production schedule
Cooperate with the production supervisors to execute the configuration center's daily production plan
Monitor and challenge planned vs actuals hours and improve production efficiency
Maintain healthy customer service levels and short lead-times
Keep inventory levels balanced to maximize cost efficiency while attaining high service levels
Maintain forecast accuracy on components that supply the configuration center
Assist the value added services of the European Distribution Center to maximize logistics performance
Strive for high levels of data accuracy
Review lead-times, stock levels, and economic order quantities, to effectively plan efficient production requirements
Assist in new product releases, as well as product lifecycle discontinuations affecting the configuration center
Work with global stakeholders to share best practices and continuously improve existing planning and production processes
