Position Function: This position will develop and deliver a range of safety and environmental certification trainings to assist clients in meeting Mississippi regulatory and licensing requirements needed to work with hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead-paint, and mold. Salary Grade: 13 Please see Staff Compensation Structure or Skilled Crafts and Service Maintenance Compensation Schedule for salary ranges. For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department. Department Profile: Center for Continuing Education offers non-credit courses, certifications, workshops, short courses, and safety training. Area of Specialization: Safety & Environmental Training Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary trainer for on and off-campus safety and environmental training courses. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor degree in relevant field of study and two years of environmental safety experience - 10+ years experience working in the safety industry. Working Conditions and Physical Effort - Will require travel throughout Mississippi to conduct trainings.
